Ask4Drivers — core terms

1. Platform role

Ask4Drivers provides a technology platform through which businesses publish delivery-work shifts and registered drivers choose whether to accept available shifts. Under the standard flow, the business does not select drivers from an applicant list.

2. Driver responsibility

Drivers are responsible for ensuring they are legally entitled to undertake each shift, that information and documents supplied are accurate and current, and that any vehicle used is lawful, roadworthy and appropriately insured for the activity undertaken. Ask4Drivers does not provide or guarantee a driver's motor insurance.

3. Profile, documents and verification

Drivers may be required to provide a profile photograph, identity, driving-licence, right-to-work, MOT and vehicle information. Verification records the platform's review of submitted information and does not guarantee future validity or conduct.

4. Business responsibility

Businesses must publish accurate dates, times, locations, requirements and pay terms. The business is responsible for paying the driver directly under the agreed shift terms, including any agreed upfront fuel money and per-delivery amounts.

5. Shift pay structures and settlement

The platform may support hourly, per-delivery, hybrid and fuel-plus-per-delivery shifts, including delivery rates set by mileage bands or named areas. When a driver accepts a shift, the displayed pay terms are saved against that booking and cannot be silently replaced by later changes. At the end of a shift the business submits the final amount, the driver may accept or dispute it, the business pays the driver directly, and the driver may confirm receipt. Ask4Drivers records these operational confirmations but does not itself hold or transfer driver shift pay unless a future feature expressly says otherwise.

6. Three-month business trial

Eligible business accounts receive the trial period shown during registration, currently 90 days. Platform subscription charges are waived during the trial. Driver shift pay remains entirely separate and must still be paid by the business.

7. Reviews and conduct reports

Businesses may review drivers after completed shifts. Drivers may review the individual business location where they worked. Conduct reports are private to Ask4Drivers administrators and may be used to investigate payment, safety, behaviour or platform misuse concerns.

8. Security

Email verification is required for new accounts. Users may enable email-based two-factor authentication, which sends a single-use code during sign-in. The platform may provide Remember Me, password recovery and device-session controls. Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and should revoke unfamiliar sessions promptly.

9. Cancellations, tax and legal compliance

Cancellations, no-shows, check-ins, shift completion, payment confirmations, ratings and reports may be recorded. Drivers remain responsible for their own personal tax affairs and declarations that apply to them; Ask4Drivers does not calculate a driver's personal tax. Users remain responsible for laws and obligations that apply to their actual working arrangement. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights or obligations.
